I had some changes sitting around that were nearly done, so I finished them! A few years late, I know...
- Fixed bug on Windows where the game would be sometimes be stuck on the loading screen indefinitely
- Game controls are now fully configurable
- The resolution can now be adjusted in the options menu
- Added shadows to text to make it easier to read
- Added simple shading to walls to make them more clear
- Optimizations
- Linux port
- Toned down the difficulty of some bosses
- Added more time between puns, and added more puns
And most importantly...
- You can now beat chickens with the Sign of Madness
Work is still being done on the remake. Since I am working full time on a "real job", progress is slow, but I've got most of the "engine" code done and am starting to move on to actual game stuff. Now that I've made the original game more accessible, I can be more comfortable making more radical changes in the remake. I am going to call it Total Invasion 22, because it's Total Invasion 2...2! Coming whenever.
